The Best Professional Purchase I Made Last Year
I’m a regular listener of the Manager Tools podcast. I found the podcast about four years ago and have benefitted greatly from their knowledge in the professional sector. I’d like to think of Mark and Mike as two mentors that tell me what the professional setting is really all about. If you’ve been the professional field for a number a years, you may find some of their content as basic, or a great refresher. If you’re still in an entry-level position and/or looking to do a career change, this is by far the best podcast that I can recommend.

I wrote an article today and my friend on the WordPress Theme Community offered to edit it. I have two more to turn into him this week and I should have 6 really by end of the week total! The community is great and I appreciate being around other folks that are like minded. A coworker asked me one day why a business would start a website or blog when a consumer could just go to a Facebook page. I know… seriously. Found my editorial calendar! *blows dust off calendar paper* Ok, so it’s a little older, but that’s ok. We’ll just cross off a few items and replace the months so it’s more current. Now what did I write on here? Oh wow, three blog posts a week?! Wow I was pretty ambitious. A little whiteout and good as new! Ok one post a week and I already have there written. Back on track. I had someone ask me on the WordPress Theme Community how my writing was going. I said well. He asked what do you write about. I said stuff.
