Finalized the layout and started playing with the formatting. I did something with the body font and now I can’t get it back to the way it was. The body font is currently at 22pt. *6 hours later* My website is down. So apparently I did something to the layout that didn’t really work. I tried to call the WP theme site; no support phone number unless you’re VIP Platinum Crystal Member. I sent an email. I got an automated response. They will reply in 48 hours. Dear Diary, Day 15
I slept as soon as I got home. No time for my website today; too tired. Will finalize the layout tomorrow. However, I did get a review on my 100 words of needing a pen pal. The instructor said good start but that I needed more context. He also said to look over my submission and try it again. Apparently, my 2 am work of art had a few obvious typos. Dear Diary, Day 14
I installed my Dark, Edgy, Slick Introspective WP theme. Looks way cool. However, I played with the layout for too long last night. I didn’t sleep, just went straight to work. My dream is coming to life. I also signed up for another course: Blogging 101. I’ve already taken Blogging 202 but I was missing the fundamentals. This should be interesting. My list is getting longer. See below: Start blog Buy expensive WP plugin take a course on list building (or tasks?) Narrowed down from 20 to top 2 WP themes. Oh yeah, WP is short for WordPress. I picked my two favorite WP themes and bought them. I’m testing the first one called “Dark, Edgy, Slick Introspective Theme” on my website based on a coin toss. You Don’t Have to Know Everything to Start
Have you ever thought of an idea and then said: “I’ll get started on this when I have time to really focus on it.” Or perhaps you had an ok start but you ended up telling yourself, “Looks ok, but it needs more work. I’ll work more on it later.” Well, that’s been me for too long. For example, this post came as an idea that I save on Dec 6, 2016, and was in my drafts folder for six months before completing it. Yikes! But why? I could list a series of impediments but ultimately here are my two main reasons. Let me know if you can relate.
