Testing Center
What is a Testing Center?
A center that is approved to perform specialized tests on behalf of companies or accredidations. They are highly monitored with in-person staff and security cameras. Students or adults can schedule a test and are provided with a quiet enviroment, and a designated computer for the selected timed test. Results are immediately then forwarded to the company directly, and if requested, to a college. Always check if there’s a testing fee that the center charges, on top of the test exam cost itself. It can range from none to $25 or higher.
Key Features
- Many local community-college testing sites offer the popular association exams (CLEP, SAT, Microsoft, etc.) at a low or no cost fee.
- Private testing centers are also available, typically at a higher cost. However, they might offer more flexible hours or be open when a local school is closed.
- Scheduling is done online and it’s possible to schedule two tests in one day.
