    Dear Diary, Day 21

I received an alert on my home desktop today that I haven’t backed up my laptop in 2 days. Geez; this backup program is way too picky. I will get around to it. I don’t think it’s suppose to warn me again until it’s been 10 and I’ll backup before thenDear Diary, Day Speaking of weird, my cube mate at work asked me today what I like to do for fun. I said I love to write. He just stared, and said, oh. Then he left to finish a pending email. I just sat there for a second wondering, “What?”   You’ve just finished reading another diary entry of Subbie.…

    Dear Diary, Day 20

Happy 4th of July! I’ve received a fair amount of Independence Day sale announcements today, but nothing as bad as Black Friday. Nevertheless, I still had a moment of silence for all the brave and bold individuals that saw the potential and future of the original colonies 241 years ago. In other news, I completed the first draft of my blog post “How to choose your WP Theme.” However, I haven’t published it yet because I’m letting it “marinate” in my head before I edit it. I’ll edit it tomorrow and then publish. And yes, I used the word “marinate.” Unfortunately, now I’m hungry. Off to the kitchen. Goodbye.  …

    Dear Diary, Day 19

I started a new blog post. Finally! It’s titled “How to choose your WP Theme.” I think it’s appropriate since I recently installed mine. I’ll let you know when it’s posted. I also bought a task manager. However, it’s taking forever to type in all of my tasks. I did go through and got rid of a few items that weren’t useful. There were a few that you could tell I wrote late at night due to typos and plain silliness. I leave you with my favorite: Charge bulb light chicken —> Change kitchen light bulbs   You’ve just finished reading another diary entry of Subbie. If you can relate…

    Dear Diary, Day 18

I watered my house plant this morning and left a little classical music playing so that [Darcy the plant] could enjoy the tune. I need to get a new pot for Darcy soon since she’s probably going to grow quite a bit here in the next few weeks. I will add that to my to-do list. *grabs to-do notebook* Ok, so my list has gotten out of control. I have 345 items and 45 were due today. I think I’m going to need a task manager. Clearly, my list is too long to copy in this diary but the good thing is that I numbered the items on my list.…

    Dear Diary, Day 17

I received a faster reply than expected. The lady on the phone was wonderful. She helped me out quickly and we connected really well. So much so, we are now friends on Twitter. She has a strong interest in greenhouse plants and shares tips on how to keep a house plan alive. I don’t need another distraction I like to follow her because if it helps keep my one plant alive that I have in my apartment, then it’s worth following her. She fixed the font problem. Apparently, my browser was just zoomed in. The struggle is real.   You’ve just finished reading another diary entry of Subbie. If you can…
